Question about Chrysler Town and Country

1 Answer

When I start my mini van the AC, windows, wipers, and radio will not work. If the car is in run but not running they are work but once the engine is running nothing. I have replaced the ignition switch and everything looked like it was going to work but after about 10 minutes it was back to not working. Any ideas.

Problem seems to be in your integrated power module. It has an accessory relay that is misbehaving. This looks like a special part that you will have to get from the dealer. You may just be better taking it to their service department and hopefully get a verification that this is indeed your problem before buying the part. I hate to have to give this kind of advice, but this type of complicated design makes it impossible to figure out thru and online discussion.

Sorry :-(

The rear window wiper and window water spray will not turn off

This sounds like a bad switch, try dissconnecting the switch for the rear wipers and see if it stops if it does then replace the switch, the motor is pretty get and dry if it runs and the sprayers spray then it sounds like the switch is stuck or bad.start there,

The wipers, radio, power windows, and heater all quit at once. They will not work when the van is running, but will when the auxiliary is on. Have checked the fuses. What is wrong?

Your ignition switch has failed.

It is located right behind the ignition lock cylinder (where your key goes in).

It is a relatively common problem. The part only costs about $15 but the labor runs about $100.
