If it is White smoke this is a symptom of coolant entering the combustion chamber. This is extremely serious and you must stop driving the vehicle and have this repaired. Other symptoms of this are loss of coolant with no apparent leak, overfull oil, white foamy substance on the underside of the oil fill cap. it more than likely a blown head gasket, cracked head or both.
If it is Black smoke then this is a symptom of and overly rich fuel/air mixture.
If it is Blue smoke then your engine is burning oil at startup. Normally this is a symptom of valve seals that need replacing. This can be done without removing the heads, but unless it is bothering you or burning lots of oil, I would just leave it alone.

You need to change the valve seals as they are letting oil seep through & lay on top of the pistons so it will smoke on start up until all excess oil is burnt off the pistons. Hope this helps!

If it's a short duration smoking (1minute or so) it's most likely valve stem seals. They are a problem in GM's. It's not a serious problem but a real pain in the *** to fix. You need a valve spring compressor and you will need to reset and adjust the valves when you are done.Plan on a half a day to get it done.
If you are going to do it then get the umbrella type replacement seals. They last longer and I think they work better. What you have on there now is like a rubber O ring. Hope this helps.

I have a mazda mpv 2006 2.3l turbo from japan.2 months of using the car its smoking and oil level dropping ever day

If the vehicle has a diesel engine and it starts with black smoke that clears you should put some injector cleaner in the fuel tank, a couple of treatments should clean the injectors.
If the smoke is grey/white perhaps you should have the engine checked for issues.
If the vehicle has a petrol engine maybe the valves need some attention.
Ideally you should have the people who supplied you with the vehicle take a look at it . The problem wit himports is that some elements of a vehicle need modification to run correctly, this sounds as though something more serious may be ammiss
The oil level is reducing quickly, that needs investigation.
I would say that the person who supplied you with the vehicle needs to take a very close look at the engine.

GOOD LUCK WITH IT

WHEN STARTING WILL SMOKE HEAVY , ON THE NEXT TIME WILL NOT SMOKE,WHEN SMOKING HEAVY WILL CLEAR AFTER A LITTLE WHILE IT IS A 911 2.4 E 1973 . Motor has been overhauled , new bearings , heads ,new rings,...

I would think that the blueish smoke is most likely from the valve stem seals leaking. When they leak they allow a small amount of oil to pool on the top of the pistions. When you start the engine it will smoke for a little bit then it will clear up. I would look in to changing these, however it will require removal of the lifters, valve spring, ect. Another suggestion is to try running an oil thicking product such as Lucas Oil Treatment or NO SMOKE.

Check for worn valve guides & seals. Make sure PCV is functioning as well, but it sounds like guides worn.

My lexus is smoking from the exhaust pipe every time i press the gas

if it is white smoke the rings are going out. if its black smoke its running to rich. if it smokes on first start up and then clears out it is valve seals.either way it is costly to repair.

White smoke from the exhaust when I start the car

Hi!

What type of smoke can you see---

white smoke-
If you see a wispy, lingering white smoke that has a bittersweet smell, this is an indication that your car's engine coolant is leaking into the combustion chambers. This may be due to a leaky head gasket, or in a worst case scenario, a cracked cylinder head.

Make sure to take your car to the shop right away to get it fixed.
Thick white smoke---
If your vehicle is belching white smoke upon start-up, it is a sign that transmission fluid is entering the combustion chambers, possibly though a vacuum tube that connects the engine to the transmission.
This type of smoke can be confused with the normal puff of steam during start-up. If you are not sure, have your car inspected at the shop.

Blue/White Smoke--
A blue/white smoke is an indication that oil is being sucked into the combustion chambers through the valve guides. A quick fix for this problem is by replacing the valve seals. Valve seals are small, umbrella shaped pieces of rubber.

Do rate the solution.

Thanks
Rylee.
