Try resetting the alarm. The procedure is as follows:--- Insert the car key into ignition switch and turn the key to ON position. Now on the driver side there is a valet switch. The valet switch is near the hood release.Turn the valet switch on, then off three times in quick succession. Listen for a chirp from the alarm system. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your wireless transmitter. You will hear the beep. When you hear a long beep from the alarm system at that time release the buttons.Turn the valet switch on, then off again quickly. Turn the key to "OFF" and remove the key from the ignition. Lock the doors with the remote to test the alarm system. It should get reset and function normally. To disarm the alarm this actually requires the Electronic Control Module to be removed and some wiring modifiactions are made. The ECM to alarm wiring has to be disconnected. But this is not advisable,as alarm is for car safety purpose. Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

When I started my 05 Toyota Camry one night two weeks ago, for the first time my high beams would not go on, what could be the issue, and how can I fix it?

1. Check the fuses for the high beam circuit. There is usually one fuse for the left and one for the right high beam.

2. If the fuses are OK, check the Relay (also normally found in the Fuse and Relay boxes ) for the high beam circuit.
There is normally one Relay for the Low Beam circuit and one Relay for the High beam circuit.

3. If the fuses and relays check out OK, there may be a problem with the high beam switch on your headlight controls.

Jaguar X type Warning Light and Alarm issue

First, go around the car and tighten all the locking mechanisms.
A loose one will report 'door ajar'
This would explain 1 and 2.
3 sounds like the ride level sensor under the rear suspension.
Have you run over anything interesting lately?

Disco II Car Alarm goes of in the middle of the night

Could be a problem with the sensor, as their is a few sensors, door(s), hood, depending on he car a few others. One of the sensors could be going bad and is super sensetive or intermitten and even if say a gust of wind hits the wire, it'll go off. Im saying it's a bad sensor.

Have a Toyota Camry 2003 and the alarm has been going off in the middle of the night when it gets cold out. Any idea how to fix this so I don't disturb my neighbors. I've had to sleep with the remote next...

I have just had my Toyota Dealer solve this very same problem. I purchased a 2003 Toyota Camry second hand. A great car, except for the car alarm going off when the temperature dropped outside at night. Neighbours were not impressed. The problem was in a electrical relay that talks to the ‘Body Control Module’ (damn computers in cars). This is part of the car electrics that controls things like 'auto lights off' when you lock the car, 'power windows' after you switch off the ignition, 'central locking' and a few other important things like 'interior light auto off' (so you don’t flatten your battery if you accidently leave it on). The faulty relay cost me $450 to replace, including labour, but everything works great now and most importantly, no car alarm at night. I cannot guarantee that yours is the same problem but my best advice is to take the to a Toyota dealership and get one of their mechanics to test it properly (they plug your car into a test piece of equipment that can check it properly). Shouldn’t cost you any more than $100 to find the fault and to get a quote to get it fixed properly with a guarantee.

Panic button

the alarm may be in "stolen" mode already. what you can do is that you can switch the key into ON position and open the hood, remove the negative terminal from the battery and reconnect after two minutes. this will give the alarm time to reboot and recognized that you have the key to this vehicle.
