Nissan March K11-warning alarms and engine stops

Im having a Nissan March (K11-2001-Auto,EPS,ABS) when Im driving in suddenly "PS" red bulb comes and steering gets harder and then it goes off and ABS lights comes on, blinking PS & ABS alternatively and engine stops. Seems like a loose connection some where ..this happens only when Im driving in broken roads and turning.

Pls. tell me where to check and what can be the fault.

Hi Chintaka96

Seems to me, you have a bad connection somewhere in the management system, on board your vehicle....I think that you'll do well to inspect the plugs connecting to the computer....but I think that you'll find that the problem is to do with the earthing connections....I can't recall exactly where the management system is mounted in your vehicle but I can suggest some places where you can look..... The drivers side of the car, either at the side, behind the panel in front of the door. (it's usually identified as the drivers kick panel).....It may also be in the center, behind the consul....You'll have to look for it....It should be a metal box, about 8 by ten inches and it will have three or four multi connectors plugged into it....Follow those cables until you find those which are bolted onto the body of the car.....Remove the bolt and clean the surface and then refit.....You'll have to go through the whole vehicle until you've checked all of those connections....Once finished, I believe that the problem will be sorted out.....

Best wishes Johngee10

I have a 2001 xterra, 120K miles. Had serpentine belt replaced. About a day later, began to feel like car was misfiring, bucking, jerking. Back to mechanic, Codes for knock sensor and P0325Midfire showed up. Replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, knock sensor (with manifold gasket), added Techtron. Still same problem. Went back for plug wire set, distributor rotor, distributor. Mechanic said fuel pressure fine. Still same problem, but now stalls out too. No codes come on now. I'm about out of money, and car even worse off than before. Any suggestions? Thank you!

With Nissan march - The terminals have fuses attached and you will find that this normally breaks due to vibrations. This causes the power to the electrical connections cut off therefore there will be no power to the car to the battery. You can replace this with a fuse wire of 100amps and direct connect.

This is built into design so your tires dont lock up its a normal aperature of vehicle now its computer operated so you would need software to adjust this too your comfort this is what they would call anti tip for vehicles of this caliber its there to keep you from rolling over or sliding on a rocky sandy road your nearest dealer can adjust the brake settings for these brakes to be less sensitive to the road

2001 Nissan PAthfinder 4-wheel drive malfunctioning'

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

The only real way to find out what is going is to have a diagnostic scan. You can go to auto zone and have it scanned for free but im pretty sure their scanners are for motor only, not abs. You need an abs scanner. Any garage should be able to scan. It could range in cost from$35 to$100 for a scan. Abs light could be a as simple as wheel sensor. The brake warning concerns me though. I would check your brake fluid. When was the last time you had new brake pads put on. You may have worn the pads so low, you have run down the brake fluid.i wouldnt drive until i found out what is going on with the brakes. any other help needed, just ask.

your abs unit is failing and needs replaced ...the procedure for testing is to backprobe green wire in abs connector and watch voltage wave pattern on a scope ....it will show voltage does not go from 0 to 12 but only 4 to 12 volts that verifies problem is abs controller.

My brakes pedel trembles

For some reason the abs is applying itself prematurely. This could be happening for several reason
1. bad abs sensors (4) one in each wheel
2. bad axle (if axle was replace make sure that its a abs axle).
3.Bad abs Unit or abs computer.
Have the vehicle put on scanner and check for fault code. Auto-Zone does this check for free then you can take it from there.
