1.1 mm is the standard gap for a platinum tipped plug. Plugs for this car usually come pre-set but it's always worth checking before installing. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 2004 Nissan Quest engine coolant drain procedure

There should be a petcock on the bottom of the radiator. If not, remove the lower hose, and this will drain the coolant. You may not need to drain it, as I usually don't when I do them. You will lose a little out of the hoses, but it is up to you.

SOURCE: '99 VW EuroVan w/VR6.will not start, does not crank @ engine

good possibility is the ignition switch itself not making the start contact. that is not an easy switch to get to. best bet would be a dealer

How to change belt where is loosining bolt

I'm told this is no longer the 5 cylinder which had the tensioner high and far back impossible to get to without the special belt tool from parts house.

Ok so this should be the new VR6 engine which has an amazingly different tensioner requires running a bolt into proper location and following some basic instructions.

Here is a link which includes pictures and a great description of what you have to do.

My dealer recommended a 'timing belt' change for my 2001 VW eurovan, with the 2.8 VR6 engine, at 100K miles, to the tune of about $1200 US. an independent garage i called for a second quote said that...

on that engine it is a belt newer vw's all have belts, and yes it is recomended at 100,000 miles. to do that job is a lot of work if i were to do it it be between $1,000.00 to $1,500.00
