Jack up vehicle, take off front wheels. After that, there are 2 bolts on the back side of the caliper that you take out. Once thats done pull the calipers off and the rotors should come right off. Hope this was the info you were looking for. Please rate answer!! Thank you

Is there a way to test the blower resistor on a chevy colorado pick up?

Sure.
You can take a volt-ohm meter and check the resistance between the terminals after you remove it from the truck. Each resistor wire should have some resistance.

You didn't list your engine size so please pick the applicable to your motor size:

Removal & Installation 2.8L & 2.9L Engines To Remove:
  1. Lift the vehicle high enough to gain access to the knock sensor (KS) through the left front wheelhouse.
  2. Remove the left front wheel and wheelhouse liner.
Knock sensor (KS) (A), Engine harness (B), Knock sensor (KS) connector (C)

I have a 2004 Chevy Colorado and can not get the hub off to change out my front rotors.

Very, very few cars or trucks require the hub to be removed. In almost all American vehicles, the rotors are just resting on the hub and will come off fairly easily. Make sure you've removed the caliper, then smack the rotors a bit with a rubber mallet. They should come off. If there's a ton of rust, you might need to use some penetrating oil, then smack them a little.

How do you get the front rotors off of a 2004 Chevy Colorado? More specifically, do you take off the hub assembly, and if so, how?

If this is a 4wd the rotors are "captured" and machined on the truck using an on car lathe. Otherwise you should get a printout of all the steps from a dealer.
