You may need to replace the headlight switch it controls the dimer function, try turning the knob to the left your dome light should come on,alittle to the right and that controls the dash lights,if bad you can remove the old one by reaching under the dash and on the switch body there is a small spring loaded pin you push in and pull the knob out to the end on the shalf ,this allows you to remove the knob and shalf so you can unbolt the switch and disconnect the wire plug.

if the fuse is blown it will fix the problem, but it might be the blinker unit is faulty & needs to be replaced, you should find it under the dash on the drivers side,it may be a square or round unit with a connector plug on the top, the fuse should be in the fuse box under the hood or under the dash.......hope this helps.......cheers.

Dash lights flickered then van dies. Has new

possible crank position sensor fault .It's also likely that some of the dash gauges work intermittantly, or not at all.

Fixing brakes

Try bleading the brakes, sounds like you have in them. Than the ABS light should go out & you shouldn't have to worry about the fuses.

These vans had a problem with the switch actually melting.

I would replace the switch and also look at the blower resistor.

2002 Dodge Van towing a Rock Climbing Wall. No

I would think that the wires from the RCW (rock climbing wall) that control the running lights are wired to the interior dash lights of the van, and a fuse blew, killing the above mentioned lights. Check the fuse block for a bad fuse, probably labeled inst lights or inst lgt. Did you make the trip there in daylight, and trip home at night? The fuse for the dash lights couldn't handle the extra drain of the RCW running lights.
