Your best bet, is to take it to a shop and have it done on a lift,by someone with experience. You can do it yourself, but if you need a video, you most likely don't have the tools either, and could end up getting hurt.

Shop around, look at labor prices( don't tell them are buying the part). Then buy your own part and have one replace the part. Fords.. When you have to replace the drives side CV axle. The left side has to come apart. The only way the drivers side axle comes out , is pushed out from the passenger side. Threw the transmission.

How to change driverside c-v joint chevy venture

You don't change the cv joint. You purchase a half shaft left or right side and you replace the whole axle shaft they are around $150.00. Take off the tire, remove axle shaft nut, remove spindle from lower ball joint and pull the axle out of spindle then you take a large pry bar and carfully pop the axle shaft out of the transmission. Very easy job only takes about 1 hour to for complete job.

My 95 nissan maxima has 260,000 on it. I just had the timing chain replaces, water pump, and radiator. The engine is vibrating in drive & reverse. I had one of the spark plug coils replaced but its...

At that mileage, your engine mounts probably are bad and need to be replaced. They would cause the engine to vibrate the whole car, when in gear, if the mounts are worn and have too much play. Have them checked.

the best thing to do is go to any auto parts store and buy a haynes manual for your car, they are based on a complete teardown of vehicle. this manual will tell how to do the job.

95 maxima not moving after putting into gear

Sounds like you may want to check if one of your cv axles has popped out of the transmission(usually the driver's side because the right on is bolt into a support bracket).

i would change the knock sensor first. if that doesn't fix the problem then a complete tune up would be the next step. but if the sensor has no resistance that is where i would start
