Question about 1992 Pontiac Bonneville

1992 pontiac bonneville fan problem. When I switch the fan on, air doesn't come out. It sounds like the fan motor is on but is stuck or just isn't turning the gears?

Heater,air conditioner blower doesn't work

Does it work if you tap it with it switched on? If so, then you have a worn out motor, and need to replace it.

Check power to the motor. If you have power, then replace the motor.

If you don't have power, then check the switch mechanism.

Sometimes when I start my 1992 Bonneville SE, the idle starts out high and never slows down. I have to ride the brakes to not just accelerate to max speed. I have tried fuel system cleaner and it...

1992 the stepper motor, the idle air control is a stepper motor its movement is by a jackscrew, this jack screw tends to bind out of so many years of moving you can try to clean it out with carb cleaner that might work other that its stuck in high position, or since its broken you know linkage pull wide open throttle do you see the idle extension screw it in make it low. youll be okay for now.or just replace it

AC not cool

Check the a/c lines entering the firewall. Large hose should be cold and small line warm-hot.If o/k, may have vacumm leak to underdash control. If vacumm is lost the system will revert to heat and defrost. Could also be the air blend door is stuck. Maybe something dropped down defrost vent on dash. If this helps Please rate

It was difficult to figure out how best to describe where it is at, so I thought maybe an image would be better. I believe it should be labeled as 'Fuse Panel' or something along those lines.

In the image Ive linked to, the fuse box is just above the item marked #2 in the picture which is the blower motor. The fuses for your fans should be in there along with the fan relays. Hope this helps.
