Question about 1990 Ford Mustang

I am purchasing a 1990 ford mustang with a 5.0 engine it has a oil leak only when it is warm. How much of a problem is this?

It all depends on the area,Cylinder heads and intake gets costly but valve covers and oil pan is not to bad

Huge oil leak on driver side of my 2000 mustang gt


as removing the head this would give you better view of the engine so you may be able to see the oil filter part .Just a thought not leaking from head gasket ,you'll find out when removing head i guess

You might as well replace the engine, it is about the same cost. So you are looking at about $2000.00

Low on oil


if u had a leak that big u would have a puddle under the car every time u park it for longer than a few minutes, chances are the engine is burning oil.
