Question about 2008 Ford Mustang

1 Answer

L@aol.comI'm having an engine shaking/vibrating on deceleration only on my Ford Mustang GT 2008. When this occurs I turn off the engine immediately, when I restart it...it runs fine again!! I have added fuel injector cleaner to my gas and a sludge oil treatment to my crank case. What else could it possibly be?

Try cleaning throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Just follow directions on cleaner. You can get this at any auto supply store.

High speed vibration when decelerating 2005 mustang saleen 5 speed

Does vibration start when brakes are applied? Then it would be something like brake rotors. You may need to check driveshaft for balance.

Some engines with "Cam Phasers" can act up. Those with DOHC have a device on each bank and valves are timed separately for each bank. If one device returns to base timing any differently than the other, the engine will shake or stall.

Clutch bearings or clutch springs may be worn and react when Torque shifts. Try to notice if clutch is engaged or depressed when vibration is present.

Vibrates when take off

Hi, the vibration is due to the old transmission fluid in the car, the transmission will make the car to shake due to slippage (especially immediately after your car uplifts to a higher gear and is cruising at low rmps).
Get the flush and the problem will be solved.

Take care

08? park in in the ford service driveway in front of the serve manager and leave it running. This is definately a warrentee issue. It sounds to be a sensor malfunction.which is part of emmidions which they should really deal with. Sorry.
