Where is the computer located on a Dodge B3500 so I can hook up my diagnostic equipment?

There should be a connection point at the fuse box under the hood or under the dashboard to connect Diagnostic computers to. You don't have to actually connect directly to the ECM.

Check engine light on in 04 dodge 1500

the computer in your dodge truck has picked up 1 or more trouble codes in the system, you will have to hook up a code testing retrieving tool to the aldl [ assembly line diagnostic link ] , normally located under the instrument panel on the left side in your truck close to the steering wheel, and retreive the codes and verify them by the booklet that came with the tester, if you don't have a tester, then go to your closest auto part store and explain to them about your engine light being on, they will hook the tester up for free, and tell you what the computer has picked up, good luck, and hope that this information was helpful to you.

there should be a botton on the shifter or when you are shifting the gears look at the dash it should have

Change the iac on a dodge ram b3500 van and still have the p0505

the idle air control is on the back of the throttle body. it has a plug going to it and is held to the throttle body with 2 screws

2000 dodge b3500 extended van, 160,000. engine surges upon starting when first started, have too push on the accelerator pedal to make engine idle, just had air refrigerant added, but not ice cold, what...

check the throttle position sensor. dodge is notorious for that. it may look ok, but the fault is really small but enough to cause a prob. it may or may not show a fault. a obd2 scantool may help you. most parts stores haave them.
