You can but if you are asking these questions I would not recommend it. You can add it through the low side service port. If you hook up to the wrong one you could damage your car and seriously hurt yourself. What is your eyesight worth?

Refreshing freon in AC system of vehicle

If the system is low on freon, you can buy a kit to add 12 oz.
The kit will come with a fitting that connects to one of the ports on the a/c line in the engine compartment.
A bigger question will be, if the system is low, where is the leak ?

Install AC freon by myself

Buy a A/C tester handheld, measure content, if under, you add one can, if full, you add nothing. It is added to the low side, the thinner pipeline.

Where do i add freon

You can't add freon, you need to be a licensed HVAC technician to fill freon. Take it to a repair shop.

How to add refrigerants? To a 2000 buick lesabre. My car is blowing hot air it went from cool to hot. and now it just hot air coming out.

look for the fitting that is the smaller of the two and is attached to the line that is the larger of the two, this is the "low" fill side, add 2 cans of r134a freon each can is one pound the system empty holds 2 3/4 pounds of freon thats 2 3/4 cans.
I would buy 1 can of leak detector/freon combo and one can of dye/freon combo, if it takes more add a small amount of a third can that has an oil mixture in with the freon that would complete your systems needs the cheapest and fastest way possible.
If you want it done to the book then you need to have a certified A/C man vacumn pump down the system, replace the reciever drier, add freon and oil to fill the system and then check for leaks.
Happy Motoring!!

I was just recently in a car accident. My raditor broke and had to be replaced. Because i didnt want to pay a mechanic to do it i did the job myself. It worked out well but after dissembling it the coolant...

first you need to find out why the freon leaked out then repair that, then you will need a vac pump to vacuum the system for about 45 mins then if you lost oil add a couple of oz,when you lost the freon if there was a cloud of oil and gas then add 2oz before the vac down while system is open put into line or dryer or condensor, after the vac, then recharge to spec, there a label at the radiator support or on the hood that tells you how much freon the system holds, here you go it holds 1.48lbs of 134a freon.
