I had the same problem on an 08 Equinox. After jumping the battery, recharging, checking all fuses and swaping some of them, I returned to it and it started like if nothing had been wrong. Then I realized that I used a different Key and remote.
I remote locked it and used the first remote and key again and the problem came back. I went back and forth a couple of times and recreated the problem. PROBLEM was my regular key lost its program. I reprogrammed the remote and key and lived happily ever after. good luck.

My 2006 chev equinox was driving fine but then the check engine light came on...when I went to accelerate there was nothing the vehicle would not move...also the TCS light came on as well

TCS light is for electronic throttle control . This will set a DTC - diagnostic trouble code ! Your best bet is have it taken , towed to a qualified repair shop .

2006 Chevy Cobalt LS won't start

Could be a weak connection between the battery and starter, or the clutch safety switch. You would need to know how far power is getting in the starter circuit to figure it out.

Have a 2006 equinox lt. Will not turn over. Battery and connections are all good. Took starter to have tested they said it was bad. Bought a new one installed it making sure all connections were good....

Looking at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved in the starter circuit's an testing with a DMM - digital multi-meter is how you go about diagnosing this . Free wiring diagram's here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on starting . Click the search button then the blue like. Looking at the diagram i see a starter relay ,ignition switch , PCM - engine computer ,the starter . The starter should have only two wire's , heavy gage red - this is B+ voltage for the starter . A smaller gage purple wire - this is the control wire . Do you know how a relay work's ? video's on youtube showing how . If the computer see's an input from the park neutral safety switch on no anti-theft system problems it will supply a ground for the starter relay , sending B+ voltage to the starter solenoid engaging the starter an spinning the engine over .

My 2006 Equinox won't start. The battery is fine it is just making a lot of clicking noises. What could be the problem?

First question is: Is the battery really fine? Turn on the headlights and see if they stay on while trying to crank the engine.

If they stay on on then yes, the batttery is fine and the problem is likely your starter solenoid.

if not, then you may have a dead cell or two in the battery that provide enough power to light up your interior and run accessories, but cannot turn the engine over. Hope this helps you find the issue. Cliff

Rodeo just clicks ,not battery or starter what next?

Turn on the interior lights. Try to start the engine. If the starter solenoid clicks and , the interior lights doesn't change intensity, then you have to troubleshoot the starter. If the interior lights dims then something at starter or engine is jammed.
If you suspect anything wrong with the starter let me know, and a will tell you how to troubleshoot the starter.

I need to reset my computer on a 2006 chev equinox

there are 2 ways to do this, use a scan tool ($50 for a basic one) to reset the light, the other is to disconnect the battery for 5-10 minutes, be advised if the problem is not corrected that set the light the light will come back on in about 20 miles, also if the system is not ready u will fail smog, this means they (person doing the smog) know there was a problem.

Dash light do not come on but lights do for drl on 2005 chev equinox

DRL (Daytime Running Lights) will come on any time you start your car.
The dash lights do not come on, unless your headlights turn on. Either by a daylight sensor or if you manually turn them on by the switch.
So even though your headlights are on with the DRL, if you notice the tail lights do not come on (just like the dash lights don't).

To test if your dash lights do work, turn your headlight switch on. You should the the tail lights and dash lights come on.
