After changing transmisson only one head light works windows wont roll down ac doesnt work and windshield wipers dont work. any help?

Could be the harness was smashed when the transmission was put on. Maybe the engine and transmission ground to body wasn't connected. head light is a bulb or bad wire. The Wipers are a bad motor or ground, The widows, if they worked before, is a bad ground.

Had rebuilt transmisson put in now put shifter in reverse instantly turns the radio volumn off the radio digital info stays on. any connection to the new transmission. didnt happen before repair

check around the bell housing for a wire that is pinched during the re-fittment. There really is no connection between the problem and the replaced transmission so you will have to consider anything electrical not in the correct position

What does code P1728 mean & how can you fix it on a 2001 Dodge Durango?

It is a transmisson problem. Have you changed the oil filter in it recently? The problem seems to be pressure related. Something like a seal or something deeper like the computer not responding fast enough. Hopefully its simple as a seal on o ring around the fliter or somewhere else. Good luck

2002 aerio automatic transmisson stays in high gear and the OD button on the shifter does not work. I shift through the gears manually and this works fine. Also, at random, after stopping at a light o

I hate to say this but I never flush a trans
You risk getting dirt in the solenoids

I would suggest a trans shop and explain the
issues & go with them on a road test before
you leave it

Stay away from the auto parts stores & chain stores
because in the end you will go to a repaie shop &
they will check for codes & starts a diagnostic process
of component testing

So the trip to see what the codes are for free i think is
a waste of time

I have a p1870 code on my 1996 odlsmobile cutlass supreme and don't know what is the problem.

ok p1870 is a general code for most gm vehicle indicating a problem with the manufacturer controlled transmision and the only people that have the computer to connect to the tranny computer is a dealer or tranny shop i have the same code in my 96 pontiac for detecting a slippage in the overdrive gear.

Transmisson has 200,000 miles on it and is slipping and some sensors are going off, also its starting to sputter and not wanna go every now and then.?

Sounds like the torque converter has seen better days.I recommend taking the vehicle to a Transmission repair shop, preferable a shop that employes ASE Technicians. This way you can get the transmission repaired and sputtering mystery solved at the same place.

Can my transmisson on my 2002 isuzu rodeo be low on fluid. It does go into gear but .But it does not go very far.Like the transmisson is slipping

I suggest bring the vehicle to a repair shop to :
a) check for leaks and ATF condition ( burnt smell ,shavings, and coolant in ATF) Any one of these conditions may indicate a rebuild.
b) if no leaks are found and ATF is in decent condition fill tranny to proper level and check for slipping.
c) if slipping doesn't happen after level is brought up to specs, DO a transmission oil filter and ATF change.(and be thankful you gotta away cheap.
d) if slipping still happens after level has been topped off
they(repair shop) will either "Stall Test it or pressure check the transmission " Good luck

Hello there! Here is a break down of the majority of the codes you posted and an explanation.
First of al the P1402 + P1403+ P0441 are all connected.
P1402- DMTL Motor Circuit
P1403- DMTL Valve
P0441- Gross evaportive emissons leak (of the least concern of all codes)
P1402 +P1403 are both in connection with the Charcoal canister. Generally over fueling a vehicle cause these codes. Hyundai's are particular prone to this issue due to emissons control locations. Simply put a DTML is a sensor. There is 2 of these particular ones on your car. One mounted at the engine and one connected to the throttle body. Fuel more than likely has contaminated the charcoal canister. If only one of the codes were set i'd assume it was just a wiring issue. More than likely the canister and solonoid need to be replaced. Obviously checking the wiring should be done first. Corrison or a broken wire also could cause these codes to trip.
P1632- Transmission Temp Pull-Up Resistor issue. I am not a Hyundai Tech so I don't have allot of experiance with there transmisson codes. However the same code with same function is listed on the F-body site(GM). I would correct the other 3 and go from there. I assure you that poor engine performance would definately cause transmisson issues, especially with the shift points. Especially with a transmisson like yours that is totally electrically controlled. Please let me know if any of this makes more sense. If need be I can elborate more.
