Yes just replace it can buy a new one at wally world for around 8 bucks not worth repairing chance spring going into the tank and then a real problem appears

I would replace gas cap filler OEM available on eBay, parts store buy a quality one. that would be starting point.
Have you had the AC unit serviced by reputable business?
the condensate drain line should be inspected.
Some newer cars don't have gas caps, just push the gas nozzle into the center of the filler, a flap will open. If your still stuck, go to a full service station.
These vehicles are equipped with a floating ball in the filler pipe. When tank is full, the ball floats to block the filler pipe, causing a vapor lock which shuts off the gas pump at the gas station. Try using an old car antenna to knock it free to see if it fixes it. If not the filler pipe will need to be removed and serviced.
most fords i have had have this problem the small vent hose gets a hole in it and gas won't go down, need new filler tube. u will have to lower gas tank and remove screws from filler neck around cap to change out , easier if tank is empty.

Hyundai vehicles are covered under warranty for 10 years or 100,000 miles. It is possible that you may be able to get this fixed at the dealer free if your vehicle is not yet out of warranty.
This is caused by some gas station pumps, not your vehicle. The sensor on a lot of pumps at stations are not replaced or adjusted, or the nozzle is not pressed in far enough when the attendant inserts the nozzle when fueling a vehicle. I too had the same problem, and realized the solution after testing other fuel stations/pumps.
The fule tank vent tube is blocked/clogged. It's the little hole next to the filler hose that invites spiders that clog it up. Blow out the tube and it fixes the problem.
Happened to me a few times....Finally this am it broke.... boooo! Reference Service Bulletin SB-01-050/08 when you bring it in hopefully you can get it for free!
