Have you checked the pressure in the spare tire also, this may be why your indicator light is activated.

I have a 2002 jeep liberty limited 3'7l and I need help with my differential, the rear one keeps making a clunking sound when I drive it. It always happens at random. Could anyone help?

With not actually hearing or inspecting.. I would check; u- joints ,pinion bearings, fluid level,. If limited slip differential has not been serviced I would get the service done, If the service was
recently performed, add the limited slip additive, I have seen different size tires or miss matched tires cause the same concern.

The on board computer says tire system needs service?????

There is a sensor that monitors the air pressure in your tyres. This sensor must need some kind of servicing.

It is a small job though.

Take good care. Dont forget to rate this.
