Question about 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
The problem isn't the panel. I had the same issue and after some troubleshooting I discovered what it was. The fan switch itself is your problem. The connections inside it get worn down and will no longer make a good connection to the AC circuit. Replacing it is simple. Remove the console cover and the HVAC unit will come with it. Remove the fan speed selector. Remove the screw holding the fan speed switch to the HVAC plate. Twist the switch out and replace. The switch unit is only $36 from a Hyundai dealership and possibly cheaper at a parts store.
