Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Aston Martin Vanquish Flat Battery

There's a relatively easy answer.
You were told correctly that you have to take out the back seats.
This is easy.
Between the lower cushion parts of the back seats is a small, cucumber size piece of leather trim, this you simply pull out.
Under this are some manually screwed in bolts, a bit like the dials on your old car radio, take them out, then juggle out the lower cushions.
On fitting they're kind of pushed under the side panels (under the window) so you have to pull hard.
Next there are a couple of bolts holding the backrest in place, these are at the bottom of the backrest, remove.
You only need to remove the RH backrest. (Right hand means on the left if you're facing backwards).
After these are out all that holds the backrest is a spring 'jaw'.
To explain how this works, let me explain something.
Before the seats were in, if you were fitting the backrest and you were kneeling in the car, looking at the metal (body) backrest support you would see a 2" x 2" hole in the Body.
On the back of your seat panel is a large metal clip, it works a bit like a big paper clip.
This slides upwards into the metal body (hole) behind to fit, down to take the backrest out, so slide the seat panel downwards.
Now the seats are out.
Here you will see a handle like on a car bonnet release. Pull it, voila.
I had a similar charging availability problem to yours last year, all I did was about once a week, parked the car on the drive (overnight at least), put it on charge, gathered the cable to the right hand rear boot corner where there's plently of clearance then locked the boot.
You won't damage the wire, just trap it in the seal.
My battery never went flat once.
If you haven't got a drive do it at a friends.
Good luck.

Have an Aston Martin vanquish 2007. Battery is dead and can't use remote to open the car. The key does nt work either (both sets).

this works for other cars
can you jack up and support the car and hook a jumper cable to the positive terminal on the starter? If so you can hook up the jumper cables to a good battery and a ground on the car. This should give you the power needed to open the doors.

The engine light just came on. What does that

it means that one of over 200 poss faults has occured, have the system tested for the fault code that is stored when this light is turned on by the on board computer.
