I changed the crankshaft of my m43 with a crankshaft bearing some gears or drives, thereafter my piston height exceeds the engine block by almost a millimeter. What are the potential dangers?

the problem possibly is that the crankshaft you used may be a longer stroke that the one you removed ( you state that you change the crankshaft of the m43 with another crankshaft)
Assuming that the engine is not a diesel engine
problems that you will have besides the extra height, is an over the top compression pressure which will require top octane fuel or special fuel
one way to lower the compression pressure is to fit pistons with a hollow in the crown ( low compression pistons)
go to a speed shop and you may be able to get an over thick head gasket to stop the piston from hitting the head and to lower the compression pressure as well
look around and talk with speed shops and engine reconditioning engineering shops as there are different sized pistons that have the gudgeon pin set closer to the crown which will make the crown flush with the block
I think that you will have to research the bore and stroke of your engine and the engine that the crank came out of to see if there is a difference and work on that angle if such a difference exists
of course if it is a diesel, it is probably right it you use the correct head gasket as diesel engines have very little clearance between the head and the piston crown

How to replace crankshaft sensor on grand prix gtp

The above link is for a video how to replace the crankshaft sensor on a different vehicle than your ,but the procedure is the same for your vehicle. The Harmonic Balancer needs to be removed to access the sensor, which is the most difficult part of the job.
There many videos on how to remove the harmonic balancer, and how to replace the crankshaft sensor on the GM 3.8 engine. Do a search on the web ' how to remove the harmonic balancer GM 3.8 engine.'
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Code 0315 no start

There is a problem with the Crankshaft sensor. It is not sending signals that are matching those on record. Either the ECM has lost part of the programming for the operating range of the crankshaft sensor or the crankshaft sensor is sending different signals.

You would need specialized scans to reprogram or interpete the information and reflash the chip.

Crankshaft pulley on a 1994 toyota camry

is there a sensor that screws into the block or front cover that points at the crankshaft? If so the new pulley might have a different magnet set that doesn't correspond with your cars computer therefore making it misfire.

Where is the crankshaft and camshaft sensor located?

Here's some pics of my 2003 Altima Crankshaft Sensor. Often mistaken by the Camshaft Sensor because both are identical sensors. They are each located in different locations. I've seen diagrams with the WRONG labeling. Again, this is so confusing for even a mechanic to understand because both sensors carry the same part number which is rare.

Having a problem with the belts on 1986 Saab.

There are four drive belts
  1. crankshaft to power steering pump
  2. crankshaft to a/c compressor belt idler pulley, to a/c compressor
  3. crankshaft to coolant pump, and
  4. crankshaft to alternator.
3 and 4 are side by side belts on the crankshaft, and each drive both the coolant pump and the alternator.
See this page for pictures of the belts, but I haven't a layout for them. The pulley grooves align for each of the different belts, so it shouldn't be too too difficult to figure out which is which.
