Try not tobecome a parts replacer-buy a haynes manual instead--I believe the throttle body is filthy or an idle air valve is-there r solvents to clean this

I have 1995 chevy lumina with the3100 engine. It starts fine but idle is rough and has loss of power and smells like unburnt gas.

How long since overall tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?
The basics for a rough idle, check for a leak of some kind, fuel--egr--vacuum, something of that nature. Does it run ok off-idle?

I have a 98 chevy lumina with 61k miles.what can I do about these codes, P0300. P1381

P0300 is a random or multiple cylinder misfire, and P1381 is a misfire EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) or PCM (Powertrain Control Module) Since you mentioned replacing fuel components, it could be as simple as a fuel injector being clogged up causing a cylinder misfire. Have you checked your fuel injectors?

1993 Chevrolet Lumina APV hesitates and dies when in gear

When it stops running and will not start back up, you'll need to figure out if you are lacking spark or fuel pressure to proceed with testing.

1993 Ford F350 7.3 lacks power and idles rough sometimes

It sounds like you have fuel pressure problems and possible ignition wiring issues as well. Have the fuel pressure checked when this problem occurs is my best advice. If the spark plug wires are orig, then replace them and route just like the old one, replace any broken loom holders.

Changed oxygen censor, new plug and wires, new coils, cleaned the egr valve nothing worked still kinda revs up and slows down and stalls occasional haven't tried the sledge hammer yet

Fuel pressure regulator can do this. Also bad fuel pump could. Is it getting good pressure out tailpipe? Maybe plugged catylitic converter?

I have a 1995 chevy lumina 3.1 and upon starting the engine will either hesitate and die or it will idle and when i press the accelerator it hesitates and then the engine dies...what could this be?

you need a tune up...plugs, possible wires too, they might have a lot of carbon tracking deposits on them ...clean (IAC) sensor, if you"ve never cleaned it, believe me it"ll be dirty.. and then make sure you completely clean you throttle body too inside and out! but wait an hour after before starting to let it air dry...clean air filter or replace it, and replace fuel filter if it hasn"t been replace in a long time. also after you"ve done this purchase a can of Sea Foam fuel system cleaner $10 and pour 1/2 can into 1/2 tank of gas and drive around even if its running "a little rough", for about 30 minutes and this should clean out any fuel injectors that may be possibly clogged up! if you you cant drive the car but will idle only after cleaning (idle air control), pour some seafoam in the tank and let it idle for about ten minutes then try to see if it will run. If none of this works then you probably have a fuel pump not putting out the correct pressure!

Car stalls

the problem sounds like it is not getting enough of fuel. check or replace fuel filter to see if this helps, also make sure fuel pump is pumping the fuel at the right pressure. have pressure checked if need be. if not enough fuel a vehicle will run at idle, but stall under pressure.
