How to change to the power steering pump on a 2005 grand prix

1. Remove the drive belt.
2. remove the high pressure line from the pump. (the metal line with a nut threaded into the pump body)
3. There are 3 Bolts holding the pump to the bracket. You access these with a deep well socket through the holes in the pump pulley. They should be 15 millimeter headed bolts. Remove these.
4. Have a drain pan handy and remove the return hose from the pump reservoir, then hold over pan, remove cap, and let fluid drain.
5. You will have to rent, borrow, or buy a power steering pump pulley puller/installer. Follow the instructions that come with the kit.
6. Reverse the removal steps to install the new pump. Then fill the reservoir with new fluid, start engine and fill to the full mark on the caps dipstick.
Hope This Helps You..........

2005 grand prix not throwing heat, replaced water pump 3 months ago. could it have air pocket? if so how can I repair?

If a heater line that is routed above the head cylinder it will have a valve on it which is cracked open upon when the engine is at operating temperature. Then the air will escape so the heater will work for you. The valve will be on the metal line facing upward
