Front rt wheel wobbles

If it is a front wheel drive, check & see if the axle nut is tight, if not tighten to spec's, if it is you may have a defective wheel bearing or steering rod, also check the ball joints.

My 4 wheel drive sounds like its engaging but front wheels not pulling.

the acutator on the front diff. might not be working even though its engaging in the trans for the gear ratio it still sounds like its not engaging in the front diff.

Front wheel drive not engaging in high or low, making ratcheting noise in right side front when in gear. Cause?

It sounds like your 4WD is engaging but the hubs on your front axle are not. Do you have locking hubs on the front axle or are they automatic?

My shifter is no engaging seems like its not connected to the clutch

front wheel drive cars have a couple of bars attaching the shifter to the transmission, one to stabilize the shifter and another to actually manipulate the gear selector on the transmission. if the stabilizer bar (torque bar) came off or loosened, the shifter would have a very difficult time changing gears and would probably require 2 hands to do it, you might only be to get into 3rd and 4th since they are in the neutral gate

Noise when engaging 4wd

I have had this problem and it could be one of three things, first the truck has automatic locking hubs, lack of lubrication to these hubs could cause them to make exessive noise while engaging. also you could need to lubricate your universal joins on your forward drive shaft. lastly my problem was abs wheel sensor actuator in drivers front hub had (internal part of hub looks like a large gear with teeth) had broken a gear off causing the hub to get wear in it making it clunk while engaging the four wheel drive.

Sequential transmission is not working right

My son just brought our MR2 with the same 3rd gear crunchy problem to the transmission shop. They said it is a faulty speed sensor which is engaging the clutch at the wrong time. A $200 fix!
