would love to help but need more info on truck. for instance could be a dist. cap, rotor, coil, or coil wire. but you may not even HAVE those, depending in ignition setup. if it's more solid state ignition, could be ignition module, crank or cam sensor.

I have put in a new computer brain a new coil and the truck still isn't firing and the fuel pump regulator and the shut down switch has no fire going to them neither

First thing check for spark and fuel. If you have both then it could be multiple things. Ill be happy to help.

When you say shut down switch what exactly are you talking about? Does the truck seem to be cranking over alot easier than before? If it is cranking easier you might have busted the timing chain/belt.

Go over it, check the air filter, fuel filter, make sure your key isn`t bent. bent keys off set the chip and the car cant read it. next time take out the key and turn it around and try it again. let me know.

Firing problems 2000 honda civic

From easiest to hardest on fixing would be to use fuel cleaner, if that doesn't work then you need to change the fuel filter, if that doesn't work then you need to check your injectors, if it still isn't fixed then you need to pull and clean (and possibly replace) your spark plugs.

Van idles fine but when going the the road giving it gas it acts as if it isn't getting the proper gas ... it back fires....repleaced fuel filter and pump, crank and cam sensior

sounds like the timing is off. check the firing order to be sure your plug wires are on the correct positions on the coil packs. if that checks out, possibly a timing chain may need replaced. i hope this helps

2002 dodge 2500 diesel........cranks wont fire.......any suggestions?

Check to make sure your spark plugs are good. Next would be to make sure your alternator is working correctly. At the end of the day it could need a new starter if it isn't a relay or something simple.

Just because it get fuel, but does the fuel injector pulse? Add fuel in the throttle body if it wants to start your problem and solution will resie in bringing the fuel injector to working level

Its not firing weve replaced the relay switch the distributor and coil and it still isnt firing

You say Distributor if this actually has a distributor and not a coil pack remove the distributor cap and watch the rotor as you crank the motor. If the rotor isn't spinning your timing belt is broken, if it is, check the relay in the power distribution box under the hood as well as the fuse there and in the interior fuse panel to make sure they are all functioning properly.

My 1979 351 Modified Ford Bronco will not fire up. The engine cranks, the rado will come on ~ Yhe engine isn't getting spark

coil may be bad--chec distributer cap for corrosion and inspec points--also plug wires cud be worn inside--look for any loose-frayed wires in engine area--also make sure fuses and relays or switches are sound
