Question about 2007 Dodge Nitro R/T New Cars

Dodge Nitro unhappy

Dodge Nitro? I have been soooo unhappy with my Dodge Nitro. I purchased my car last year in November and all I been having is problems with it. Constantly in the shop, is there a way to report this issue and get another car? How does the lemon law protect ppl like me with these types of issues. Last thing i need is to cause an accident because of this vehicle.

I want to buy an new Dodge Nitro diesel 2.8, but I cannot afford down time as it is a company car and we would sue the dealer into bankruptcy if a problem persists, plus any cost of down time.

Is it save to purchase the Dodge Nitro diesel, or should we go to the US and puchase Dodge Rams with the cummins diesel which go forever?

    Genuinely concerned,

Lemon laws are a little different in all states, but the basics are- the dealer has your vehicle 30 business days in the first 12 months of ownership. 3 unsuccesful repair attempts at the EXACT same problem, that resulted in you returning with an unfixed problem after thinking it was fixed. i have not seen any problems with nitro's yet. what problems are you having?

You can get one at an auto parts store for your particular model or get a larger "Chilton's" manual that will cover many models and years of Nitros.

On my 2007 Dodge Nitro the third brake light & towing brake lights dont work, i've checked all the fuses related to this problem and are ok

INSURE THAT THE LIGHT UNIT IS NOT DEFECTIVE. AUTO ELECTRIC DIAGNOSIS BASICALLY IS FAIRLY SIMPLE.
1. CHECK THE CIRCUIT FOR THE FIRST POINT YOU HAVE POWER.
2. CHECK THE LAST POINT YOU DON'T HAVE POWER......THE PROBLEM LIES BETWEEN THE 2 POINTS

Yes, I am experiencing the same problem someone else told me their parents had this problem too and had a new tranny put in and a new drive shaft. Still did it. Finally they got satisfaction through the lemon law. :(
