The parts store has a small kit to reattach mirrors. It needs a special glue. Go to the parts store and ask for a rear view mirror glue on kit.

You can try a 'superglue' used for sticking interior mirrors back in place. images below are generic. Most car accessory shops will sell suitable glues:

Granville Windscreen Rear View Mirror Aerial Bond Glass Metal Adhesive Glue

Or you can try a two-part epoxy type glue:

How can I attach a baby mirror to see my baby?

I assume that you want to see while driving, I use a suction cup backed mirror stuck to the windscreen to one side of the rear view mirror. If your child is in a rearwards facing seat you would need two mirrors one at the front and one towards the rear of the car. Hope this helps.

Bumped the interior rear view mirror and the mirror section has detached from the base which is still stuck to the windscreen. It does not seem to easily reattach to the base.

There should be a small allen screw on the "windscreen" clip. Back it out, attach mirror and then tighten it back up.

Good Luck

Knocked rear view mirrow off

if you are talking the rear view mirror on the windscreen then use Loctite 406 or 401 super glue to refit it. care with the glue as it will stick skin together real quick. have a bottle of nail polish remover or acetone on hand in case of accident.

Fitting rear view mirror

Hi you can buy little double sided pads to do this but make sure the cab is warm when you fit it.

Alternatively superglue but you will need to hold it in position and tape it up to dry, Pads are the better option. let me know if you need a stockist and I will post you the link.

I knocked my rear view mirror of the windscreen and can't get it

there should be a very small screw you have to loosen to put the mirror back in place and then tighten it back up again. i think it takes a very small allen wrench

Rear view mirror

Most vehicles have a small piece of plastic that is glue onto the windshield and then the mirror slides onto that piece. If that is not the case then get ahold of some adhesive remover and try that. It is deffinately not on there with screws.
