Question about 1996 Cadillac DeVille
Misfire on #1 is a very common problem when the engine gets wet. When you are washing down the engine the spark plug wires get wet and the spark from the spark plug goes to ground instead of firing the spark plug. And the reason that it is only doing it on one cylinder is because you probably need to change the spark plugs soon. A plug will misfire when they get carbon built up on them. And you will sometimes get more carbon built up on one certain plug, due to blow by. This is not anything at all to worry about. I would suggest maybe changing spark plugs.
