There is a belt tensioner that should have a bolt you can turn to relieve pressure om the belt they are eithor on the alternator or the power steering pump then be able to replace the belt

It sounds like its not getting enough fuel or air. Did you try changing the air filter and fuel filter? if that isn't it, the injectors or fuel rails or pump could be getting tired.

Dear Belt Replacer,
Nothing special you need to know, just that to make sure you take the belts off and reinstall them in the correct order, also make sure that each belt has between half an inch and one inch of play when the final tension is set on each belt, thx, I'M HERE TO HELP!!!

1995 Toyota Tacoma V6 rotates but won't start.Starts and runs great for several starts then rotates and won't start.
Check timing chain or belt. Might have jumped out of position because of wear. Or check ingnition components. rotor, cap. or condenser.

On my 2005 Tacoma with the 4.0L V6, I found it easier to change the belt from under the truck. Just remove the skid pan. Plenty of room to install the belt. The tensioner pulley is the one at about 2-o'clock from the crankshaft with the belt nearly all the way around it.

1995 Toyota Tacoma AC Working Intermittently I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma. The AC works intermittently. It's been doing this for 2-3 years. Sometimes it will work all day. Sometimes it works for a few hours, then I turn the vehicle off and after awhile when i start it back up it works again. I'm sure it's not the freon or a leak otherwise it would have stopped working altogether years ago. Someone once said it might be a vacuum problem. Any ideas on things I can check?
