If you mean remove the valve cover, I don't believe there exists such a diagram. Typically, valve covers are only one or two parts at most. You simply remove the attaching bolts and work it through the hoses and wires to extract it. On certain vehicles, it might be necessary to remove some wires or hoses as you go. If you're not sure how to remove it, maybe it would be good to have some assistance.

Can't find the pvc valve on a 2001 chevy tracker. I need a diagram or a very good description to fid it. thanks. Elmer.

  • As you face the front of the engine look just to the right of the trottle body and down a couple inches. Your PCV valve is is in the back side of the valve cover gasket. Should have a spring clip on it.
  • I have uploaded a pictur indicating where the throttle body is located.

  • Also here is a pic showing the hose that should lead to your PCV valve (moving towards the engine)

Looking for diagram that shows egr valve on 97 nissan pickup

On page 6-6, Hanes #72030, you will find the diagram that shows the EGR Valve for models 1981 through 1984.The diagram also is followed by models 1985 through 1997. The valve works exactly the same in the 1997 as it does in the 1984. If you need a diagram online, follow this link;

I need to change the spark plugs on my 2006 Ford Fusion V6 3.0L. Do you have a diagram that shows where they are and the order in which they need to be changed? I can't seem to find this information...

No order, just do one at a time. on the engine there will be a valve cover on each side of the engine, below is a valve cover, the arrows are pointing to is the ignition coil packs, coil packs might have a plastic cover over them, if so remove cover, disconnect harness from coil, remove small bolt holding coil pack, pull up on coil, remove spark plug, do the same on other side of engine, don't forget to check spark plug gap, the spark plug gap is .050", hope this was very helpful.

Were are the spark plugs located? can you show a diagram?

Start disassembling from the top of the engine (decorative cover). And just keep going until you uncover them.

One diagram shows cylinder order from front of car 1,2,3,4, all others show 4,3,2,1,...if I knew how to set the valve lash I could figuge it out by the cam lobe placements. The cylinder order for a 1992...

Number 1 cylinder is always the one closest to the timing cover, even if it is a V configuration engine. Your TDC confusion may come from being on the wrong stroke. True TDC for timing purposes, is on the combustion stroke when all the valves in that hole are closed.

 rough-idling engine can signal a number of positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve problems, such as a clogged valve or a plugged hose. But before beginning the functional checks, double check the PCV valve part number to make certain the correct valve is installed. If the correct valve is being used, continue by disconnecting the PCV valve from the valve cover, intake manifold, or hose. Start the engine and let it run at idle. If the PCV valve is not clogged, a hissing is heard as air passes through the valve. Place a finger over the end of the valve to check for vacuum.

With the engine at idle, vacuum should be felt at the PCV valve.

1998 Ford Explorer sport 4.0L 4x2 PCV Valve Location

the pcv is located on the rear(firewall) of the drivers side valve cover.turn counterclockwise and pull to remove be careful there are 2 small tabs inside the pcv hole in the valve cover(can feel with small finger) this is to hold valve in place so it wont leak.if you have a oil leak at the pcv a quick fix is to put a small amount of silicone around the pcv o-ring and install.wait hours for silicone to set up.
