Hi. Here is the procedure on how to replace the bulb and the headlight. hope this helps.

From inside of the engine compartment locate the bulb. Unplug the wiring connection. Next, there is a black locking ring that you need to rotate. when the open slot aligns with the slot on the bulb, pull the bulb out. There is an O ring around the bulb so you might have to tug a little. Replace in bulb in reverse order.
Also you can pop the hood and just grab the headlight and pull it straight out from the front of the jeep. It's held in with 3 ball and socket points and 1 plastic clip. Pull hard and straight out and change it with ease and put it back the same way just pop it back on.

94 Grand Cherokee Laredo. I need to replace the headlight assemblies.

Open the hood of the Cherokee. Above the headlights are one bolt to each headlight. This holds the headlight in place. Removed the bolt. Then just pull out the headlights straight forward. There are clips that hold the headlight to the inner panel.

98 Jeep Grand Cherokee, The low beam lights went out, the high beams work OK. Has anyone found the common problem yet with this issue? 101,000 miles.

If your headlight switch is the type you pull out, left of the sterr column on dash, switches tend to go bad, I replaced mine and only had 50,000 miles. try checking headlight relay in engine fuse box first.

Headlight replacement

You can remove this very easily by unscrewing the one bolt on top of headlight that holds it in place. After it is removed you must pull the entire headlight out, it may feel like it will break but believe me, it won't. I recommend that you pull the light from the outside corner first, it will come out very easily. I have done it many many times and got this advice from a mechanic friend. Good luck.

1994 jeep

there should be a metal square ring provided it is a sealed beam headlight this ring will have 4 screws holding it in place just undue these screws and remove the connector and replace. If it is not a sealed beam you will have to go under the hood to the back of the headlight and there will be a round screw on holder just grab it and turn it untill it comes off pop the bulb out and replace with the new one hope this helps
