Should be under the hood drivers side. If the switch isnt lighting up it might not be the fuse. Those switchs are known for going bad. Hope this helps please rate. Thank you

first the flashing light means that it is trying to go into 4wd. as far as i know there is no adjustment. The shift motor may be bad, If the transfer case is shifting it could be the silinod in the front differantal.

SOURCE: 2000 Blazer stuck in 4WD

DO THIS FIRST !!!!!
I went through 2 days of troubleshooting why my 2001 Blazer was stuck in in 4L (push button). I was about to push it off a cliff when I had realized that the only thing I DIDN'Tcheck was the buttons themselves. Turns out that they are made not much different from a computer keyboard. Pop out the 4W button panel from the dash and hold it face down in your hand. With a small screwdriver, pop out the back from the front. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE FACE DOWN IN YOUR HAND or else you'll have buttons all over to pick up. Now, once you have the back seperated get a q-tip and rubbing alcohol and clean the back of the buttons, which are metal contacts. Then, clean the WHOLE board where the contacts make contact with the q-tip and alcohol . Even if this assembly does not look dirty to the eye, it will malfunction with the slightest of oxidation or moisture deposits on the board or the contacts. Also, I may add; throughout my troubleshoting adventure, I also was able to get the tranny to shift smoother by cleaning the tranny's computer connector. My computer was located at front pass right side floor panel. It was obviously exposed to a lot of moisture somehow. The power pins were especially bad. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: I want to disconnect the abs system on a 2000

You can disconnect it by just pulling the fuse out for the ABS sytem. The fuse will be located at the end of the dash on the drivers side. Note that the ABS light on the dash will come on that will indicate that your ABS system is not working. You can ether live with it on, or pull the light out from the instrument panel. Good luck and this should help.

Check to make sure you have a good ground. From there, you need a circuit tester light w/probe to trace back. Look for a broken wire.
Good Luck.

Will not engage in 4wd, sliding all over and wheels just spining, 200 Chevy Trailblazer

If your Blazer has push button 4wd check your fuse under the hood. and have some body listen to the black box on the side of your transfer case while you try shifting it into 4 hi and 4 low... if it doesnt make any noise its your shifting box.
