Question about 1997 Nissan Maxima
In my 1997 nissan maxima, in the dash board yeollow light with check pop on i dont understand wt is the problem
I have often found this problem on several cars after an oil change at one of the "almost drain all your oil and go" places. At 3 times they forgot to reattach one of the hoses after checking the air filter and, after 5-10 miles, that's enough to cause the light to come on. IF this is the problem, just reattach and for me anyway, the light goes away.

You must consider the check engine light as an idiot light. There are a lot of functions that is monitored by the onboard computer system. The most common cause for the light to come on and not reset is the emission systems. If you take the car to an Advance Autos or similar parts store they will use test equipment and find out what the error code means. This is done for you at no cost. Good luck!
