It is most likely a bit of coolant leaking into the number one cylinder,if the leak is very small, then you will not notice the white smoke.Check the spark plug, just to make sure and see if this helps by changing the plug for a new one.
I believe you may have a burned valve,or carbon deposit on an intake valve, try a mystic oil,or trans fluid additive, just allow a vacuum line to such it in the engine ,this may break the carbon deposit loose. And you can try an additive called prolong, part number 16016.This may be purchased at walmart or oriell`s ,or the auto zone, this can be added to the fuel tank, with less as possible fuel in the tank.
Also look for a vacuum leak near the number on ,on the intake, and it can be a vacuum line ,the vacuum line would be close to the number on ,on the intake.

Hi Roniecon
I had replaced the plugs yesturday after this started. Drove it for about 25 miles and at idle it was very rough, this would be the case at every stop - This morning I pulled all plugs and they were dry and clean. I drove the car this afternoon for a out 5 miles round trip. At idle felt like running on 3 cylinders, give a some gas it it went away. At idle it started again, then a little throttle and it cleared up. Kinda reminds me of "back in the day" with a hairline crack in a distributor cap...But I digress - Are you saying run the vehicle for a little and then pull the plug(s) to look for any moisture at that point or could it be something else?
Thank you for your advice
Michael
