Question about 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Using a digital volt / ohmeter set on ohms, check for continuity between the b and c terminals (letters are on the connector)
You should show no connection whatever (same reading as when the meter is on and not connected to anything.) Any reading at all indicates failure. Test also after a shut-down as heat can give a different result, especially in partial failures.
