My Wipers will not turn off they keep running. How do i fix this problem?

Kind of need to know the MAKE, MODEL and year to get very close, ...but most of the time wipers not shutting off is an issue within the motor itself. The intermittent circuit uses the same as off circuit, so eventually it fails to make unit shut off.

How do I stop horn blowing

Pull off the wires!
The horn will actuate from a relay which is one of the little black boxes on the fuse box. The power to this relay is usually supplied through a fuse, which will also be on the fuse box, and will be clearly marked on the fuse box cover. Pull the fuse or the relay and the horn will cut out.
The most probable cause of the horn blowing is a short on the wire from the relay to the steering wheel, or possibly the wiper contact on the steering wheel. Don't confuse "wiper" with the windshield wipers. it is a small copper finger or carbon brush that makes contact between the horn button on the wheel with a slip ring under the wheel, which in turn is connected to the wire running to the relay.
With modern cars, however, it is a bit of a gamble getting the steering wheel off, since the air bag could be in the way, and the last thing you want is to set off the air bag while you're working on the steering wheel. An airbag is basically an explosive device which can cause serious injury, so if you are not OK with doing such work, take it to a service agent.

Why does my windshield wipers come on when I turn my left turn signal on

Perhaps a screw fell out inside the steering column, and causes power from the turn signal to short to the wiper circuit. I saw this happen in a 1972 GMC pickup truck, where a screw fell out and caused the horn to sound when the turn signal was activated. The screw was laying across the two circuits, and when the signal was powered up, the horn was also , on an intermittent basis. Had torent a steering wheel puller from the auto parts store.

Doger charger horn trun signel wiper quit working 2008 6cel

All of these functions are controlled by the totally integrated power module (TIPM) so the first thing to do is check 30A fuse 10. Next, check 10A fuse 30 in the power distribution center (PDC). Power passes through the steering control module and the right steering switch to the horn switch. Pressing the horn switch sends a signal through the right steering switch and the steering control module to the TIPM which applies 12 volts to the horns, causing them to blow. If all fuses check good, the problem is in the other circuitry.

If fuse 10 in the TIPM is good, operation of the turn signal switch should cause the turn signals to flash.

If fuse 10 in the TIPM is good, check 5A fuse 35 and 10A fuse 30 in the PDC. If all fuses are good, the wipers should work.

No brake light,no turn signals , no flasher lights...I have checked fuses for each and they are OK. Also all bulbs are OK. Any suggestions.

Hi!!
Your multifunction switch may be defective. Replace it. $39.99 at AutoZone
  • Combination switches operate wipers, directionals, horn, headlights and dimmers.
  • When not replaced, wipers, directionals, horn, headlights and dimmer, independently or as a group, will not function or turn off potentially causing safety issues.
