was the battery dead? It sounds like yout security system was set off and drained the battery. You need to figure out how to reset the security system. This one sounds like an aftermarket system.

The battery went dead because I did not run the car for 3 months. I tried turning the key on before connecting the last battery terminal but that did not work, since the horn still blew and the lights still fashed and the engine still would not turn over. I could not find the fuse on the security system to pull to shut that system off. I did pull the fuse on the horn so at least that did not continue blowing. I suppose the next step is to purchase an Acura repair manual or ask the dealer.
Thanks for any help that you could suggest.

I'm looking at your wiring diagrams now. If you have the factory security system, fuse 20 powers it.
If you take this fuse out, I don't know yet if it will turn off or not--I will keep reading the diagrams.
This fuse will also turn off the cruise control and the power seats.

You can also try fuse 39--this one may be under the hood in the relay box. This one only runs the security system, so it shouldn't turn anything else off. I have not found the reason yet that the alarm is staying on. The relay for that may be inside the security module. If so, perhaps fuse 20 coming out will reset it, and then you can put fuse 20 back in and it will be off????

There is a wire from the drivers door lock to the security system. Try unlocking the driver's door with your key to see if this will disarm the system.

sorry, the computer didn't recognize me that time. It's still me (jturcotte) reading your wiring diagrams. There are a lot of diagrams, but I'm hoping that if you unlock the driver's door with the key (with the battery connected), it will disarm.

04 Impala 3.8 horn blows low volume and sounds weird

sounds like the diaphragm in the horn is worn/dried out. check to see if you have battery voltage to the horn with either a test light or voltmeter and the horn has a good ground as if not then the horn won`t operate correctly. if these are good replace horn.

2004 Toyota Sienna horn blows and lights flash for no reason, then stop for a few minutes and repeat again.

If a critical supply is removed, (relay that feeds?) then the alarm will think the car has been tampered with.

2003 - RX300 I'm tring to change the battery, when I connect the negative terminal, the horn blows and won't stop... I've turn the key to start and nothing happens, the horn keeps blowing.......

I would check to see if this is a relay problem for the horn. Remove the relay for the horn and see if you can swap it with another to confirm it is bad. If with another relay it doesn't stay on you no it was just a relay so go get a new one. The only other thing could be a security issue and when you discharged the power by unhooking battery the vehicle is acting like it has been broken into. But i would say it's a relay problem. Good Luck.

Horn wont work.i check the fuse in the door and

Maybe horn became unplugged. Put 12 v power to horn make sure horn works. Put test light on terminal on horn have someone press the horn button, if light comes on and horn does not blow you may need new horn. if light does not come on you may have bad contact at horn button, blown fuse, broken wire, bad horn relay or possibly just a bad ground.
