What does service c mean in a mercedes r class

It means that it is time for the car to receive it's scheduled maintenance. Different Maintenances - A - B - C - cover different items. Maintenence is usually alternating, 13k miles, C Maintenance, 26k miles A maintenace, 39k miles C Maintenace again etc...

The C Maintence tells you and your service center what services to perform. Your local Mercedes dealer can tell you what exactly is invlolved in the C Maintenance for a 2006 E Class.

Bring up the FSS and check what service items are listed for the "C" service. The "C" only means that approx 3 hrs are required to perform the service. If the car is still under warranty, I believe the oil & filter will be free and the rest of the stuff will cost. Here's some instructions (PDF format).

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer and leave some testimonial about this free answer).

Mitchell On Demand 5. It's a software that gives you everything you'd ever need to know about non-exotic cars (and some of those as well) How to fix, what to fix, how long it will take, what to charge. pretty elaborate stuff.

You can torrent and pirate the software but that is illegal and would be detrimental if you have a legitimate business. I would recommend you look into it and see what you come up with. It can be pretty expensive. I worked in a dyno shop and we paid per car for the license to tune and use it. Unlimited license cost 1000s of dollars but can be well worth it if you have enough business.

Hope this helps.

When do i change the transmission fluid on my 2006 mustang?

automatic or manual trans? milage, age and driving habits-compare all this to the manufacters recommend maintenace schedule-make sure it is the manufaturers and not the dealers as there can be discrepencies. with the comparison if you find that your milage accumulates sooner than the rated length of time then your maintenace schedule should have sooner than intervals.

Maintenace required light on how i turned it of after i did the maintenace already and light still on

Hi Guillermothe,

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I know with older vehicles the light needs to be reset. In older vehicles all you have to do is disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, reconnect and you're good to go.

But, you're driving a newer vehicle, this may effect your car alarm, or even your radio.

Hope I've helped, don't forget to rate.
