Water pump has gone out three times

Hi. That's a lot.. Did you fit it yourself or a garage?. Poor quality pumps or over tightening the belt when fitting can cause early failure. I would try a different make if you haven't already. Jon

When the hold light is blinking blinking on the dash and your car loses power to go forward..what is the matter

The computer has gone into a safe mode and it will not allow the computer to instruct the truck to run at full speed. You should not drive this vehicle it should be towed. The computer does this so it can prevent serious damage to the engine. It will give you enough powerf to get to a safe place and that is it.DO NOT DRIVE IT have it towed to a garage right away it will save you money in the long run

1996 mitsubishi legnum vr4 ayc warning light showing on dash? not on when starting the car but with in few seconds when driving it comes on. what could be possible problems and is it ok to drive it like...

i have the same problem with mine, for some reason my oil lines keep snapping off where they bolt into the diff,

the red ayc light is there to show you theres a problem and it has shut off the ayc, i would look for any oil leaks along the two lines that go from the diff to the pump, and make sure there is oil in the filler tank in the boot,

failing this, have it plugged into a diagnostic computer to find out which error codes are being displayed and what they mean

Power steering stopped working and the battery light came on but it still runs,

It is a safe bet the serpantine belt that drives the power steering and alternator has snapped, open the hood and check, there should be a belt about an inch wide or so running round the pulleys, if you can see a bunch of polished rings across the pulleys then the belts gone, you need a special tool or a decent toolbox to fit a new one, it often also runs the water pump so dont drive far.

Peugeot 106 1.5D. the clutch was slipping so new clutch fitted 2 weeks ago. It was still slipping so that garage replaced the clutch again. Guess what? It is still slipping. Any idea what is going on?

Yes clutch pedal should start to drive about 1inch off the floor and when driving keep your foot away from the pedal,/ also when new clutch is fitted did they fit a complete clutch assy /and did they surface grind the flywheel as if it was badly worn on the 1st one then the new one wouldent last very long.
as when the clutch starts to drive 1" from the floor clutch is good /when it engages right out its buggered and slips so ask about the f/wheel

Car Oil Leak

bmw has a problem in that the exhaust manifold bolts are through to the rocker cover oil reservoir and the stud threads allow oil past the threads , past the washer and onto the hot manifold
the fix is to remove the studs and use a thread sealer in the threads to seal off the threads
use a quality thread sealer ( suggest loctite red gasket sealer as it is heat resistant)
there is nothing wrong other than a lack of bmw knowledge
discuss it with the bmw shop to see what they say
