I just got done changing alot on my year/model vehicle. I need to ask does it start and run or just turn over and not start? Then I can tell you what I learned as I replaced several parts to finally get mine running.

I've cleaned the iac valve, changed the map and the spark plugs still get the spudder like its going to cut off . sometime it does. What else could be wrong?

It could have a clogged fuel filter or a failing fuel pump. Contaminated fuel, clogged injectors. Check for vacuum leaks.
Crankshaft position sensor failure is common on the 6 cyl grand cherokees.

You haven't changed sensor controls spark and fuel mixture as does the throttle position sensor, also check the idle control valve...Don't just buy testing first.

Fuel line or fuel filter location. The jeep wants to cut off and does not want to start unless I put the gas to the floor.

Your problem may be the reverse of what you are thinking...Putting it on the floor should add more air and lean it out. You may have a leaking injector. Before cold starting spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body. If it starts right up, then look at fuel pump or filter. If it takes longer to start, then look at injectors and map sensor. Air cleaner element is clean, correct?

My 93 jeep grand cherokee runs rough while in idle

Injector cleaner that goes in the tank is ****. I would take the injectors off and have them cleaned by a profesional for about $30-$40. Or you can do it yourself but it is a task.
