SOURCE: how do I remove the starter motor in my 1986

The other bolt is straight across from the one you pulled out you will need a 6 inch 3/8 drive extension and a wobble socket or a 3/8's swivel to get it out with. be sure to disconnect the positive battery cable at the battery before removing or trying to remove the opposite bolt or it will short and could cause the battery to explode. Rate if this was helpful. here is a picture of the starter so you can see it this is advance auto. 5841283_wrw_16884_thmb.jpg Worldwide Starter Part No. 16884

Replace window regulator and motor

To replace the window regulator and motor, you will need to remove the door panel, locate the rivets holding the regulator & motor and then drill or grind then off.

A good source for parts is fierostore .com

Hope this helps.

1986 Pontiac Fiero V6 2.8L rebuilt..I started it up, within 45 seconds the exhaust manifolds turn bright red and start burning up. I triple checked the timing, it is idling a bit higher than normal still....

That is usually from a clogged catalytic convertor and/or the pre-cat or collector that sits in between the manifold and the cat. If you left the pre-cat on, remove it and see what the result is.

Where is the starter wire connected to?

It runs between the starter and the junction on the engine wall next to the battery (the junction has a bunch of red wires and other wires connected to black connectors with lots of wires and a couple metal bolts that secure some connections together)

Fuse blowing

I agree. I would start by inspecting from the tail lights wiring and move up. You will have to remove interior pannels to see the harness.
