Question about 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche
Your radio is locked - it has detected the disconnection of the battery as a theft and it has locked all components. This is called the TheftLock.
To fix it you must input the security code made up of four numerical digits. This code is usually found in the original purchase papers or the manual. If you no longer have them (or it's not in there), you will need to visit the dealer to obtain the factory code from Delphi Delco Electronics. At this time, you can choose to disable the TheftLock feature so that doesn't happen again. Most dealers will charge you for that - how much depends on the dealer , but usually around $50.
