Question about 2008 Chevrolet Aveo5
I want to buy a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo 5, any ideas if it is a good choice?
great. That jingling you hear isn't sleigh bells - it's actually the change
left in your pocket after filling the 2007 Chevrolet Aveo's 11.9-gallon fuel
tank. This is but one of the joys of driving Chevy's small-but-tall people
hauler. The fact that it is (actually) not bad to drive is another. If you're
a car-type person, you may remember that the Aveo was all-new in 2004. In a
move that shows just how competitive today's automotive world is, General
Motors elected to refurbish their entry-level model for its fourth model
year. Good thing, too, as the Aveo's competition is just as fresh, and
includes solid players such as the Hyundai Accent, the Honda Fit, Nissan
Versa and the Toyota Yaris. Bottom Line: Tackles the Fit, Versa and Yaris for
less, and still gives you more for your money. Cool Fact*: The Aveo is the
most inexpensive car in the market today, but yet it has scored 5 out of 5
stars in crash tests according to NHTSA. Good Luck.

There are some real good websites on the Internet that master in selling used cars at a very good and affordable price. Not only they provide you with entire history of the cars but also let you modify your car according to your choice and need. Selecting the perfect car is not always easy. eg: www.indiandrives.com. I got a used 2008 Avero5 automatic with 20k miles on it. I have driven it for 3k miles now and did get 33 and 34 MPG going to Fl.(1,200 miles each way) and 26 around town. The breaks squeak a lot but stop good, standard radio is poor and it seems a little tinny but OK, paid $9,000 with cruse control and power windows and remote Key. So far seems great for the money.

I hope they improved it in the last few years, b/c I own a 2004 and it is the worst car that I have ever driven in my life. It cuts off power and leaves me stranded everywhere! Even though Gm has said they MIGHT fix it , but b/c it is not under warranty due to age, they prolly will not fix it without payment from my pocket. Why in the hell is it my fault? I do not recommend dealing with GM ever. Better to buy a Toyota or a Honda!
