It is in the air intake tube between the air filter and the throttle plate

It should be on the intake hose itself. It'll be a cylindrical thing with a wire coming from the top of it.

SOURCE: oil leak

I own a shop, and you should check the oil sending unit, as they are bad to get cracked, and/or break causing a pretty bad leak. Check the valve covers, and more importantly, check the PVC to make sure it has enough vacuum on it, as it could be plugged up with carbon and not have any vacuum on it. Put a new PVC valve in it, as that will help. When an engine is allowed to build up pressure inside, it will push oil right past all the seals & gaskets, and on to the ground. We find a leak by wiping down the entire engine, or using an engine cleaner, and putting it on a rack with it running. That way we can see where the leaks are, and determine what to do to fix them. Glad to help out, Good luck!!!

Where is IAT sensor located

The intake air temp sensor is located at the intake, on the same large hose as your air filter. After the filter. Its measuring the air temp of air going in to your engine.

Took my focus 2003 to autozone it is going thru alot of gas and we changed the spark plugs they ran a test and the codes are po113 & po303 i do not know what this means can you help me

P0113 indicates the IAT Intake Temperature Sensor has a problem.
P0303 indicates a misfire on cylinder 3

I believe the IAT is built into the MAF sensor located in the air snorkle and helps regulate the air/fuel mixture. Also concentrate on cylinder 3 looking for problems such as injector, wiring, etc.

Hope this helps!

check your wiring for dirty connections or broken wires, you may have wires that are rubbed through or connectors that are not making full contact. you will need an ohm meter and check wires for continuity. a wiring diagram will be needed.

1998 buick lesabre IAT sensor - Bank 1 shows up on computer

IAT means Intake Air Temp sensor. O2 is reffering to the Oxygen sensor. These are two different sensors on your vehicle. These perform different functions.

Check engine code 0113

You failed to give the model year which could have an influence on the accuracy of this answer:

" IAT Sensor 1 Circuit High Input"

Stolen from another forum:

"Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT sensor) changes resistance in response to intake air temperature. The IAT sensor resistance decreases as the surrounding air temperature increases. This provides a signal to the PCM indicating temperature of the incoming intake air."
