HESITATES WHEN I AM DRIVING AT A STEADY SPEED, MY CAR WILL SUDDENLY SLOW DOWN FOR A  FEW SECONDS AND THEN SPEED BACK UP TO THE INITIAL SPEED I WAS DRIVING AT WITHOUT ME LIFTING MY FOOT FROM THE PEDAL. I HAVE CHANGED MY OIL AND PUT SOMETHING IN MY GAS TANK TO HELP CLEAN THE LINES. WHAT CAUSES THIS AND HOW CAN I FIX IT?

if you will not fix what is knowingly faulty then it becomes pointless is requesting answers because you already know the answer. Really it is so simple ---fix the fault.

Sort of sounds like the transmission has failed,
if it comes out of gear or you have to shut it off,
to get it into gear & shifting again for a few shifts

Stalls at low speed when in cruise control

You sould have recieved a "recall" notice in the mail about the cruise control for fire and failure issues. they are adding a fusable link where the cruise control harness connects to the brake master cylinder. if you have not had the recall performed yet you should SERIOUSLY consider getting it done, mainly so it doesnt catch fire, but "could" be the result of the failure you've been experiancing! btw, almost ALL Ford vehicles have been affected with the cruise control recall. hope this helps!

Sudden release of power while driving at 65 miles

at that high a mileage it could be very likely the trans is starting to fail, have the computer tested for transmission trouble code's (trans is fully electronically shifted and controlled), also it is very unlikely the alignment check is related.

Isuzu trooper overcharging (1996)

Make sure the ground wire going out of the voltage regulator is grounded and the alternator ground is good.Check all ground wires to there are the ones that stop the over charging.Theres also is a small little capacitor that should bolt right next to the regulator that holds alot of the over charging..

if you don't have a gas cap on the car or if it is on too loosely then that is a possibility. Only other thing I could think of would be water in your fuel. You may try a bottle of "heat" (I think that is how you spell it) at your local auto parts store and chunk it in the gas can. if there were any problems with water that should be the cure.
