Possible that the engine needs a tune up with the fuel and ignition to be checked for optimum settings.
In cold start if there is a good compression with a good spark in the presence of a good fuel, the engine must start without any issues.
so check these three factors to get your car in order.

My OD off Light came on what does it mean?

it means your vehicle automatic transmission has less power and it has less fuel consumption..you turn it on when you need a maximum power of the transmission.OD off is only advisable for short distance driving, but if you are going to travel on off & rough roads the "OD off" switch will turn on.The light goes off by then.

1995 f-150 dies while driving

Check for a plugged fuel filter. If that is OK, then it is probably a bad fuel pump. Once it cools down. then it starts to work again.

Starts first time , then sometimes won't after short run

Hi there,

Had the same problem with my motor it was the camshaft sensor and it's easy to fit yourself. Mine would start first time when cold then after driving even short distances wouldn't start. Hope this helps.

1995 ford windstar, 3.8L engine overheats but not all the time

are you sure its the water pump? Its located and the passenger side mid lower on the belt. One thing them cars were noted for was blown head gaskets. If you don't see any possible leaking and you smell it look at the exhaust pipe while its getting hot and you'll see with smoke come out or a lot of moisture coming out of the exhaust or a lot of dripping. Also if your radiator fans are not working and it heats up more just idling or short drives that will make it over heat and coolant to flow out of the radiator cap or over flow.I hope these things help you in locating the problem.Have a great day...
