2005 mercedes-benz e320 . lighter outlet cigarrete is mot working and it isnot the fuse,, what should i do?

With the ignition off try prying the tabs closed on the inside of the cig lighter. Sometimes they get spread apart to far when using auxillary chargers. Make sure the ignition is off or you will short to ground and pop the fuse for sure. If that doesn't work and the fuse is good then you'll need to replace the cig lighter as a complete assembly.

Cigarrete lighter no power

check the fuse in the box usually inside the car under the dash. there should be a list on the cover showing you where the lighter fuse is. check it to see if it is blown.

The cigarrete lighter isnt working

Sure it's the socket itself? You can check it with a test light, but be careful you don't blow a fuse. You need to use the testlight's probe to touch the very rear of the socket (don't touch the sides!), and use the grounding clip of tester to clip on or just touch the side metal of the socket. Turn key on, and the testlight should light up if socket is working. If not, repair the power line to socket, or the ground for socket is open. If socket is good, the lighter itself is bad.

Blowing number 2 fuse in dash panel

fuse #2 E7 D8 goes only at cigarrete lighter and to data link connector, remove the socket at the rear of cigarrete lighter and install fuse, change the cigarrete lighter when it is shorted or there will be a small piece of metal left inside the whole,

Chevrolet Equinox 2007 cigarrete lighter doesn't work, in the instruction manual there's no fuse related with the name (neither cigarrete lighters attachments work, fron and back). Do I have to check all...

To be on the safe side check them all...Because sometimes they tie in more than one circuit within one fuse...like say for instance on some vehicles, the clock on the dashboard is tied into the cig. lighter..but the fuse panel wont say that...And make sure you check both sides of the fuses..you may have power and no ground, or vice versa..and that depends on what kind of test light you have...

I had to remove the battery in my 2005 Kia Sedona LX, whenI put the battery back and hooked it up my Sedona did not start up, and now everytime I open the doors my emergency lights/dashboard...

its not a big deal wen you remove the batery the only thing it might take some time for the computer to relearn the funtions of the car you can use a 9 volt batery and yest used as backup thru the cigarrete lighter that will save the cpu info as well as the radio stations hope this help
