2002 monte carlo ls 3.4l Fill coolant reserve up when car cold. Run car till reach normal temperature. Check coolant reserve, coolant gone. No leaks, no coolant smell. Where is it going?

there is either a pocket of air or the car is burning the coolant if there is no leak. check inside the car for any coolant leaking under the dash if so the heater core has a hole in it.

Loses water from resevoir but not from radiator

So the level keeps dropping in the reservoir? If you have to keep adding coolant to the reservoir, the system is leaking or losing coolant somewhere. Have the system pressure tested to find the leak. Is the reservoir itself leaking? When the level gets low enough, first the reservoir will go dry, then the radiator level will start to drop.
Here's how the reservoir works: coolant is under pressure from the radiator cap seal. As coolant heats up from hot engine, it expands, and pressure forces the radiator cap seal up, coolant is forced into the reservoir-remember the hot mark on the reservoir? When car is shut off, coolant contracts, creating a vacuum in top of radiator. This vacuum works to suction coolant back from reservoir into the radiator, keeping the radiator topped up, and coolant should now be at the lower cold mark on the reservoir. It is a closed, sealed system. The only loss of coolant will be a very small amount of evaporation from the reservoir. If coolant level keeps dropping, there is a leak somewhere.

Loosing antifreeze

fix the water leak at the heater first. You may be loosing pressure in the radiator allowing the coolant to boil at a low temp. This will pass water to the overflow bottle which is when you will be able to smell it

Water dripping right front underneath

Is what the liquid plain water or coolant (water mixed with antifreeze). touch and smell the liquid, no smell = water, antifreeze smell and oily feel = coolant.
If plain water, could be Air Condition condensation dripping from condensation drain which is normal. (this drain is usually located near the center of the vehicle).
If coolant, could be leak(s) from: radiator, radiator hose, heater hose, water pump, engine freeze plug. A coolant system pressure test should show what is leaking.

Engine coolant low light on, radiator constantly needs water dont know where its going

re fill your cars radiator/coolant bottle then rev the engine high. you may need somones help itll make it easier . if there is a lot of steam coming out of the tail pipe and or the exhaust smells sweet like coolant then its a head gasket problem. if that doesnt find the problem park you car on a large piece of cardboard or somthing light in color. it easier to put you car on ramps or jack stands, let it idle for a long time and then look for drips and spots. if there are none then try reving you engine and recheck, from there you can locate directly above hwere its is dripping from the engine / chassis then you can trace the wet surfaces up from there check you oil as well if its to high or smells like coolant its a head gasket

A 1994 Ford Probe with 2.0L DOHC radiator never stays filled but I see no leak and no tailpipe smoke. Could the catalytic converter cover up the problem? It also overheats. I experienced something similar...

The coolant is going somewhere maybe an internal leak look at the dip stick to see if any white substance is present also unscrew oil filler cap and look on the back side if any white substance is present you have internal coolant leak.

SHO coolant leak?

Well this might be not too bad to oh ****. When the engine is cool have an assitant start your car. You stand with the radiator cap in your hand. Make sure the water level is at a level you can see it. When you start the engine look to see if you have bubbles coming up in the water/coolant. I have seen the bubbles from a small stream to boiling out of the top. So pay attention. If you have bubbles it is very possiable that you have a head gasket that has a crack from the cylinder head to the water jacket. If not have your cap checked. Now if this doesn't get to the problem, why are you saying dripping on the exhaust system. If you think you have a water leak in your radiator then you might find a water pressure checker. It is a device that allows you to pressure up the cooling system without starting the engine. Get a mirror and follow the water/coolant.
