Horn dosen't work

Check fuse. Usually located under the Steering wheel or under the hood. You will have to use the other side of the cover to determine which fuse controls the horn and see if the metal link is broken. If both are not blown its probably a short in the wire. If it randomly just happened then its a good first guess without knowing any further details.

Usually I check all my fuses any time I am looking for a specific one. Sometimes a random fuse can be the cause, and not the actual Horn fuse that is blown.

Location of the HORN on FORD FIESTA 2004. (Fuse is ok but the horn doesn´t work).

Hi:
Your horns are mounted to the front side of the radiator core support, or the metal framework that the radiator bolts to, that is mounted between the front fenders, and behind the grillwork. Many vehicles have 2 horns,

My windows and airconditioning dosen

Dear Madam or Sir,

there seem to be two different problems with you Explorer.

If all power windows are inoperable, there seems to be a blown fuse. You´ll find a fuse table and diagram within your owner´s manual.

If the fuse is O.K., there has to be a problem with the power windows control module, you have to see a mechanic to service that.

The cause of the inoperable air conditioning is probably a lack of coolant or a defecitve a/c compressor clutch, these are the most common failures on AC Systems. Unfortunately there are no user serviceable parts on an A/C system so this ist a job for the mechanic too.

My horn stop working

Hello,

please follow the following procedures:

- Check the fuse, there is a list and a component location table in your
owner´s manual

- Is the fuse OK this is getting tricky ;) Look for the horn, it should be
mounted somewhere under the front bumper. Use a Voltmeter or an LED probe to find out if there is voltage delivered to the horn itself.

If there is system voltage (12 volts) on the horn´s plug, the horn is defective. If there is no voltage at the plug while somebody is depressing the horn on the steering wheel, it´s time to see the shop.

A defective horn contact switch or even the body control module may cause the malfunction, unfortunately there´s no way to service these units without diagnosis equipment and special tools.

Horn only works some time === right rear taillight same thing.

Hello Sir

It seem that you are facing some loose connection problems. Do check the following possibilities:

Make sure that all the fuses and relays are properly installed and intact. (Fuse box is located under the hood or underneath the steering wheel room).

Make sure that the positive terminal of the battery is properly installed and didnt have any carbon.

The connections to the horn and tail light are properly connected. (There might be some loose connections).

If all of these techniques does'nt works, you need to change the horn relay or the horn.

Regards,
Waqar.

Hello, Just bought a 2000 Buick Regal, horn

Take the horn button assembly apart--there should be only one wire there (goes to the horn relay) and not be grounded. It goes to the insulated metal part that grounds the plate when button pushed. Unfix the grounded wire and see if horn is quiet. You may need to replace that wire if it still sounds.
