Look under the seat, you should find electrical connectors. One will be for the heater, the other for the power seats. I don't think it's all one connector, but if it is, the power seat will not work.

There are seperate blowers for the front and rear air. It is most likely either your blower motor or the resistor, both located under the passenger side dash. I got a blower from a salvage yard for $25, But ended up having to get the resister from the dealership for about $130. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Our Driver Seat Heaters and passenger seat will turn on for 2 sec

When this was happening on my Envoy it ended up being the seat heaters control module that was going out. About $600 a seat on mine. Just wish my repair center found that out before they replaced the seat heaters twice.

SOURCE: heated seats

See GM TSB 05-08-143-001, If you have Adjustable pedals, especially if they don't work with the memeory buttons, but function with thier own buttons. Its the Brake Pedal Position Sensor is shorted and mesing up the seat module which controls the heaters too. My 05 Suburban had the same issue

I HAVE A 1991 LEXUS LS 400 THE SEAT ON THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE ANE THE PASSENGER SIDE WANT HEAT UP. BOTH LIGHTS ON THE DASH LIGHT UP,BUT THE SEAT WANT HEAT UP

Disconnect the seat heater and use a meter to check if there's any continuity on the heater or if it's an open circuit. If open, then heater is bad.

2004 mercury mountaineer driver side heated seat not working but the light comes on

It is very common for seat heaters to fail. You can disconnect the heater from the wiring and place a voltmeter on the wiring. If you get a reading, then seat heater is bad.

Driver seat heater only stays on for 15 seconds. If I only turn passenger seat heater on, passenger side works fine, when i add drivers side, both shut off. 2005 1500yukon XL Also heater blower just stoped...

No biggy. The seat heater can be repaired by the dealership.Should not cost much because there are no parts just a reprogram of the drivers seat module. The blower motor is the blower motor resistor module. It is on the passengers side under the dash next to the blower motor. You should be able to do this yourself if you have a little mechanical experience.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Heated seats

The body control module in this vehicle sees a short in the seat heater system. These vehiucles are typical of the heater wiring shorting out. When you try to use the bad heater the computer shuts off all the heaters.

You will need to install a new seat heater pad.
