Question about 2000 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz SL65 Amg
Why does the Traction control come on after it is switched off?
Traction control might decide you're a man not to be trusted and cut the power. This being a Mercedes, there's a stern German hiding somewhere under the hood, and that sneaky bugger activates the traction control even when you've got it switched off.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
You may just have system failure. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for at least 5mins. before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get your vehicle back to it's normal operation.
This thing really happens and reconnecting the positive battery connector serves like a jumpstart to the vehicle's PCM (powertrain control module).
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
